Where is the action right now?

The volume chart shows everything traded since 9:15 AM. Volume Change answers a sharper question: what traded in the last 5, 15 or 60 minutes? Pick a window — or a custom time range — and each strike shows the call and put volume added during that period.

A sudden burst of put volume at a strike below the market, or call volume above it, often shows traders positioning for the next move before it appears in the price. Use the replay slider to watch the build-up through the session.

Questions? We have Answers.

How is volume change calculated?

The site records snapshots of the option chain at regular intervals during market hours. Volume change for a window is the difference in cumulative volume between the snapshot at the end of the window and the one at its start, strike by strike.

Why is volume change shown instead of OI change?

The data source does not include open interest, so change in traded volume is used as the measure of fresh activity at each strike.

Which time windows can I compare?

Preset windows from the last 5 minutes up to 3 hours, the full day, or any custom range within today’s session.
